Gymnastics

Lucy started her gymnastics class on Saturday.

She got a new outfit, that she picked out and kept begging to go to "class" all morning.

Lucy has a wonderful teacher named Miss Mackenzie, 

you can tell she really loves to help the kids learn something new.

Lucy learned how to do what she calls "hands and feet" all by herself!

By far Lucy's favorite thing to do is the bar.   She has so much upper body strength that Miss Mackenzie had her try a flip. Lucy would watch the Gymnastics video multiple times a day waiting to go to class. She would always talk about the bar, it did not disappoint!

One thing I was not prepared for was Lucy being scared of the balance beam, she had to be holding on to someone's hand the whole time. Our hope is just to let her run off energy, and learn how to listen, well a little better anyway.

When did my baby get BIG?

The other day as I was getting ready for work I was watching Lucy sleep and wondering "When did my baby get BIG?" 

So I snapped a few pictures to remember that she was once little.

Color Me Mine

Kemrie loves Jon and Kate +8, and saw when they went to paint, this is what she has wanted to do for her birthday ever since. So last week we did it.

This is Lucy's rainbow once she was done, there was so much paint in a few spots 

and nothing in others, but she sure is proud of it.

Everything was tan by the next day, and for weeks after she would turn around and ask random people it they would like to "see my tan" while she pulled down a little of her shorts so everyone could see the line.

My Dad loves to have a silly string war every year at Bear Lake, 

and all the boys look forward to it.

On the 5th it was off to the Condo at Bear Lake!

We had a great time at the pool the first minute, until my dad got in the pool, took one stroke, and hurt his shoulder. He had to sit out but the rest of us played.
