Gingerbread anyone?

This year Chris gave in and we bought the Gingerbread house kit from Costco. Lucy had a great time, Chris and I almost got divorced during the process.

We got a kit with a one armed Ginger man. I think they did that because he would be thankful we built a house for him and did not expect an Extreme Home Makeover type of house.

In the end our poor house was lucky to be standing. But the grin on Lucy's face was worth everything. And by the end Chris and I said this will be an every year project. What does not kill you only makes you stronger right?!?

This year the party was at my parents home.

After a once a year prime rib dinner, we heard the bells on Santa's sleigh.

Santa came to see us and brought a gift for each child that was on the good list.

Zoo Lights

We have wanted to go to Zoo Lights for a few years now, and this year with the slightly warmer weather we decided it was the year. I talked my parents, Cody and Stafford family into going. (Claire was not feeling so good, so the Green family sat this one out)

ELMO

Lucy had been doing so good with potty training, so Chris and I decided I should take her to see ELMO grows up. I got up and got ready then called Chris, Lucy was still asleep. I woke her up and Chris was on speaker phone and told her where she and I were going. Lucy was really excited and we called Kemrie to see if she wanted to go to.

Lucy liked the showed, but liked her balloon a whole lot more.

Kemrie LOVED the show, she was singing and dancing along.

It really was fun we went to the 10AM show on a Friday. There was nobody there, we bought our tickets and then were able to move down 22 rows, because there was nobody between us.
