We had a Nemo party for Lucy and Macade on April 13, 2008. Two days after we got home from Disneyland. We had a Nemo pinata (sp) full of Smarties, Nemo fruit snacks, and cheese and crackers. The kids played with water guns, while everyone was finishing eating. My sister Ammie and I made homemade pizza, Cheese bread, and salad. Lucy thought it would be a good idea to eat the sand, along with Kemrie who was eating the sand in the Rella dress. (see pictures)
At first Lucy did not know what to do with her cake, she just sat there, ate a little but wanted to play with the kids more than eat a cake. I wanted to make her first birthday cake, so I made a layer cake (rainbow chip) but because it was so warm that day the frosting was melting off of it. Maybe next year Lucy will know how to blow out candles.
